Working group 3 is responsible for the conservation and sustainable management of below-ground biodiversity. the team is made up of socio-economists, land use managers, farmers, community workers, NGOs, etc. The working group is cooridnated by Dr Joshua Ramisch as the Global Convenor. Representation in the working group varies from country to country with Brazil having 7, Cote d'Ivoire 7, India 4, Indonesia 6, Kenya 2, Mexico 2 and Uganda 1. Tentative technical advisors to this group are: Professor Michael Stocking, and Professor Jonathan M. Anderson.
